The 3rd International Symposium of Thermal-Fluid Dynamics is going to be held at the Western China Science &Technology Innovation Harbor (iharbour) in Xi’an on 27-31 July, 2022. The symposium will be conducted both online and offline. For any exports and scholars at abroad who cannot attend the symposium onsite, an online symposium over Zoom is available.

Thermal-Fluid Dynamics is the fundamental to a wide range of engineering subjects such as energy, power, environment, energy saving and storage, renewable energy, aerospace, astronautics, combined heating, cooling and power technology, nuclear energy, hydrogen energy, automotive, mechanical engineering, emerging and interdisciplinary subjects such as zero carbon technologies, micro- and nano-fluidics, advanced thermal processes and others. It plays a key role in the development and breakthrough of scientific theories, innovative technologies and revolution of industry and human society systems.

Following the great success of ISTFD2019 held in Xi’an, China and ISTFD2021 held in Beijing, China, ISTFD2022 will be held in Xi’an, China. The symposium will include plenary lectures, keynotes and technical sessions including, but not limited to, the topics listed below:

A few best oral and poster presentation awards will be given with certificate, and special issues of selected papers from the symposium will be published in SCI index journals.

Key Dates and Venue:

Abstract submission:
ISTFD-2022 abstracts should be submitted to istfd@mail.xjtu.edu.cn before 31 May 2022. A submission should include an abstract and short biography (of its presenter), up to two A4 pages and prepared using MS Words with the template.(Please Download the ISTFD-Abstract-template)

Full paper submission:
Submitting the full paper is not obligatory to participate in the ISTFD2022, but only the full papers will be considered for recommendation to the journals cooperating with ISTFD2022.

ISTFD-2022 will be held in conjunction with the 1st World Conference on Multiphase Transportation, Conversion & Utilization of Energy (MTCUE-2022). One registration is valid for both conferences. A joint opening ceremony will be held for the two conferences on the morning of 27 July 2022 , and after then the two conferences will be held independently.
